Eliminate Static Cling

Static cling drives me crazy.  If I wanted electroconvulsive therapy, E.C.T.,  I'd go and get it done by a professional.  (Well, maybe. How hard could it really be?)  Anyway, here is an easy way to dramatically reduce, if not completely eliminate that nasty thing called static cling.

Tear off some pieces of aluminum foil and throw them into the dryer along with your wet clothes.  I usually do about three or four  5x7 squares.  I just rip off a large piece and rip that into smaller peices. After several uses they begin to look like scrunched up testicles.  Then I replace them.  At first I was concerned I'd blow up my house taking such dramatic measures. But then, tinfoil goes in the oven just fine---  So far no problems.

How does it work?  Science.  That's for someone else's blog to explain.
